Notes: hii everyone~!! Day 16 is here!! This drabble is one of my favourites too! I don't know why but I really like it and I hope that you will like it too~
Hope you enjoy it ^^ Please bear with any possible mistake :3

Sho just stood there trying to process what Aiba had just told him.

“You’re not sure anymore…you said?” he asked with a frown on his face.

“Yes…but it’s not like I don’t love you Sho-chan. You know that I love you more than my life but…I don’t know if this is a good idea” he explained trying to use the right words for not hurting the other.

Sho sighed and rubbed his temples with his hands. For the first time since they were together, he couldn’t understand his boyfriend. When he proposed to him four months ago Masaki was so happy that he kept on staring at his ring and daydreaming about the wedding for days and days, while now he confessed to not be sure about it anymore.

“I know that it’s really sudden and we already decided the place and started to take the measures for the suits but…I really can’t right now” he lowered his gaze not bearing the sad eyes of his lover.

“Did you…did you cheat on me?” Sho questioned with a trembling voice.

“No! Of course no! Sho I truly love you-“

“Then why you don’t want to marry me?!”

“I’m afraid!” he finally shouted, his eyes already filled with tears, “I’m afraid that one day we will regret it and that…could make us fall apart” he confessed.

Sho looked at his boyfriend, that was becoming a sobbing mess, and smiled bitterly.

“Take it off”

“Eh?” whispered Aiba gazing up.

“The ring, take it off”

Aiba’s eyes widened and his mouth fell open.

“Sho please I love you, we can still be together even though-“

“Baka! I don’t mean to break up with you!”

“Then…then what?” Aiba stopped crying, too much confused by Sho’s actions.

He smiled and went near him, he took his left hand and kissed the ring.

“Since you’re not sure anymore, it’s not right to still wear the ring. When you will feel ready then you will wear it again”

Masaki’s lips soon formed a smile and slowly he removed it from his ring-finger. He kissed it too and then hugged Sho tightly.

“I’m deeply sorry Sho-chan…”

“It’s okay Masaki, I can’t force you to marry me. If you do it half-heartedly, I will never forgive myself. I want your happiness first, not mine” he said while resting his chin on the other’s shoulder.

“Thank you Sho-chan…” he whispered and tightened the hug.

“I want your happiness too Sho so…wait for me please”

This is somehow sad, yet very cute! It would be lovely to see how Aiba realizes he is ready to get married. To be able to talk about it so calmly truly shows their love and the sincerity of their relationship. Very lovely, i liked it~!

Yeah it is somehow bittersweet ne? But, as you said, they truly love each other and sincerity is very important. And yes it would be lovely to see Aiba realizing that ne ^^

Bittersweet :( Aiba must really hurt Sho by that, even if Sho said it's ok, but he is hurt of course, so sad :( But yeah at least it didn't lead to a big problem like breaking up and so on.

Yeah Sho must be very hurt but Masaki loves him, that's why they didn't break up. Aiba needs some time and Sho really loves him since he accepted that ^^ But yeah in a way it's sad ne >.<

Yes it is but at least they're still together ne! Sho has understood Masaki and he is still by his side ^^

I can only repeat what was said in the other comments: Bittersweet. ;_;
But it's better this way, ne. If Aiba's not ready they just have to wait. I'm sure they will marry one day. ^_^

And you're right, this is the total opposite of my drabble for this day. ^^
