yuuki_nyanmaruSo here another one ^^ This ff got inspired by a conversation on twitter where me and my friend were imagining what could happen if Chu and Shun from Pikanchi at the end get together. The story is set 1 year and a half after Pikanchi 2.5 (Half). I hope that it is good~
P.S: since english is not my mother language and since this is the second ff that I write, please bear with any possible mistake :3

Summary: Just a small piece of a day in Shun and Chu's life, plus, a flashback.

“I’m back!” Chu shouted so he could be heard from wherever he was.
“Welcome back!” the other responded lively.
He smiled at that greeting. He lived alone for 1 year and a half and even though he became used to loneliness, it still was hard to live apart from his son. But since his lover lived with him, that loneliness disappeared and his house became a lot more warm.
After removing his shoes he walked to the kitchen and saw him wearing a white and blue apron that matched perfectly his sailor hat and uniform. He wrapped his arms around his waist and placed his chin on the other’s shoulder.
“What we have today?” even though he knew what will be the answer he still made that question hoping that his predictions were wrong.
“Ramen with clams” he answered normally and his hopes vanished immediately.
“But you cooked it yesterday!” Chu whined making the other giggle.
“But we love it! What is wrong in eating your favorite dish two days in a row?” the taller smiled and turned to him to place a kiss on his cheek.
“I give up, I can’t win against you Shun” Chu raised his hands in defeat and went to laid on the sofa tired from the difficult day he had.
When he sighed the younger looked at him knowing him too much to know that, when Chu sighed like that, something must have happened.
“How was your day?” he asked casually.
“There have been worse days…” his reply was.
Shun turned off the stove since the dinner was ready but he preferred to talk to Chu first because he didn’t want to spend a silent dinner like happened previous times.
He went to sit on the floor in front of the sofa and waited until the older opened his eyes.
“Tell me what happened” his voice sweet but not allowing a negative answer.
Chu sighed again before loosen his tie and threw it at the end of the sofa.
“Yayoi came to talk to me” he finally confessed.
Shun stiffened as he heard those words. He has never show it but he dislikes that woman. First she married Chu, then left him and brought with her Teppeki and because of this his Chu was suffering much.
Back then he tried to be happy and tell everyone that her and Chu’s love story was beautiful since he didn’t want to make his friend sad, but when he discovered what happened years later…He would have wanted to go to her and scream right on her face that she was such an idiot for leaving the best man that she could find, for leaving a so caring father and a lovely husband. But he couldn’t do that, no one would have understood him and no one had the right to. Only his best friends and he had.
“She came for Teppeki?” he said after minutes of silent.
“She said that it’s better for Teppeki to not come here anymore. If I want to see him I should contact her and pick him up from her house” he explained weakly.
“Why?! It’s not like-“ he suddenly stopped understanding the reason of that choice.
“How…? She knows…about us?” he was afraid of making that question because he didn’t want to hear the answer.
“Apparently yes. Do you remember when we went at the cinema last week? It seems she was there too and saw us holding hands”
“But we did that very secretly! We were so attentive and we choose the farthest seats on purpose! How did she?” Shun was talking so fast and he was questioning himself so intensely that he didn’t realize Chu get down from the sofa and sitting on the floor in front of him.
“Stop Shun, it’s okay. Soon or after she would have found out, we can’t hide it forever” he tried to comfort his lover while caressing his cheek.
“I could have paid more attention! If I had saw her or if I hadn’t leaned against your shoulder or if-“ he was cut off by Chu’s lips.
He cupped his face and led Shun into a demanding kiss. It was as if they were trying to find power in each other. Well after all, they were each other’s strength.
They parted but their faces were still very close. Shun’s cheeks were deep red and the older liked it very much, he always finds it cute. On the other side the younger was enjoying the way his face was held, so kindly that sometimes he wondered how this man could be an ex-yankee.
“I’m sorry…” Shun whispered looking down.
“It’s not your-“
“Yes it is. It’s my fault if now you can’t take here Teppeki. You loved to see him sleep in your bed or seeing him wearing your Tokko Fuku, but now you can’t and it’s only my fault…If haven’t confessed to you that day you-“
“Would be still alone and sad on my bed staring at the ceiling for the whole night. Thank to you I can say that I’m happy now. Maybe not to the fullest since I can’t see my son often but at least, when I get home, I’m welcomed by the brightest smile in the whole world” and for seal his speech he placed a kiss on his lips.
“Thank you for being by my side” he added a second later.
“Thank you for loving me” Shun said and smiled at him.
Chu took Shun in his arms so now he was sitting next to him with his head on his shoulder. They forgot the dinner, they forgot that it was already late, they just stayed like that. Shun embracing the other while his cheek was glued to his shoulder, Chu resting his head on the younger’s one while his hands were, one caressing Shun’s hair, one touching the slim arm wrapped around his waist.

“Okay Teppeki now it’s seriously time to go to bed!” he exclaimed taking his son in his arms before he could run away again.
“But I still want to play with papa and Shun-nii-san!” the little boy complained.
“Tomorrow you have school and we have work plus you played for a whole hour! You should be tired!” Chu said smiling at him.
“Children never get tired!” Teppeki laughed.
He loved so much his son. He was cheerful, always smiling and very kind. Every time he sees him, his heart would fill of warmth and his day would become beautiful. He loved Teppeki more than his own life.
“Teppeki you should really go to sleep now, it won’t be good if tomorrow you would fall asleep on your desk right?” Shun said making a pout.
Teppeki nodded and let Chu drag him on his bed.
In the meanwhile Shun went to the kitchen and started to wash the dishes. He liked so much being at Chu’s house especially when there was Teppeki. He was a very adorable child and he reminded him of his father.
“Maybe that’s why I like him…”
He sighed at that thought. How many years have passed since he fell in love with Chu? How many times he had imagined to kiss those full lips? How many days spent to support him since his wife left him? He didn’t know himself.
What annoyed him the most was that he never had the chance to confess his feelings for him because, when he realized to love his best friend, it was a week after the wedding. When the thought of Chu being forever attached to that woman crossed his mind, he started to feel sick and wanted to throw up. He couldn’t lie to himself, it was clear that he liked him but he never thought that this feeling could last for this long. After almost twelve years he still loves him, he still feels butterflies in his stomach when he would smile at him, he still blushes whenever Chu touches him.
“Why I can’t stop loving him? Why I’m still stuck in this impossible love?”
He was so deep in thought that he didn’t realize to have already finished washing the dishes and that was rubbing the sponge cloth against his hand.
He dried his hands on the towel near the sink and went to sit on the sofa. He leaned back and let his muscles’ back relax. He was so tired. Today he had many customers and just before he played for one hour with Teppeki. He wasn’t young anymore so his body would give up easily to tiredness.
At that moment Chu came out from his bedroom, closed the door, and went to sit next to Shun.
“He is sleeping” he announced, he too leaning back on the sofa.
“It took a while ne?” the other laughed.
“He was so hyperactive tonight, more than usual. It was very difficult to make him sleep” the father admitted looking at the ceiling.
“Probably it was because of me, maybe it’s better if the next time I don’t come” said Shun in a tone of apology.
“What are you saying? You helped me a lot! If it wasn’t for you maybe I was still struggling in the kitchen trying to make a comestible omurice” they laughed at that knowing that it could be a possible scenery.
“Do you remember that time when you wanted to make a crêpe together with Bon?” the younger suddenly asked.
“Do you mean that time when I almost burned Bon’s kitchen?”
“Yes! We told you that it was better if you stayed in the living room with Haru but you wanted to try so much”
“It wasn’t my fault, it was that Takuma said that I couldn’t even do a simple thing like a crêpe so I wanted to show him that I could” explained the ex-yankee trying to pass the blame to his friend.
“And you showed it to him! You showed him that if you want you can burn an entire kitchen!” Shun joked and laughed very hard.
“Stop it~! It’s not my fault okay? I can’t cook but it’s not the end of the world. Instead we can talk about that time when you were knitting a sweater for Haru’s birthday but you made it too small for him that he couldn’t even fit an arm?” Chu asked making the other blush.
“Well...when he had a daughter he gave it to her and she wore it since it fitted her perfectly!” pouted Shun.
“She wore it? She hated it and used it as a cloth for cleaning her toys!” affirmed Chu and they burst into laughter until tears formed in their eyes.
It was so funny to remember the old days in which everyone was happy, free, and without serious problems. It was so different from now, when they were young everything seemed so easy while now everything was so difficult. Haru being stuck with a woman that he never loved, he working on the boat he destroyed in the past, Chu living apart from his son…
“You know…I actually hate Yayoi” Shun began with his eyes fixed on the wall in front of him.
Chu remained silent not knowing what do. He should wait for his friend to talk or he should ask the reason of that affirmation? He opted for the latter.
“Why?” he simply asked.
“She took you away from us…from me…” he mumbled.
“Shun…” his eyes widened at the sudden confession and seeming to realize what he had just said, Shun turned to him, his eyes too widened in shock.
“I-I’m sorry I shouldn’t have said that-“ he was cut off by a pair of lips.
He couldn’t believe what was happening. The person who he always wanted to kiss, was actually kissing him in the most tender way that he knows.
When Chu broke the kiss he stared at him. He was really confused. Why did he kiss him? Chu wasn’t gay nor bi so there was no way he liked what he just did. Maybe he just wanted to hush him because he loved Yayoi so he couldn’t stand someone talking bad of her. Or maybe…no it’s impossible that he knows about his feelings, he did his best all these years for hide them.
“Now…” the other’s voice interrupted his troubled thoughts.
“It’s you who took me away from her” he continued and smiled when Shun raised his head in disbelief.
“W-what…do you mean?”
“I mean this” he placed another kiss on Shun’s lips while holding the other’s hands.
“Sincerely I don’t know how this happened” he started when he broke the kiss.
“But I love you. Not like a friend but like a lover. You always stayed with me, you are always here when I need you and I don’t know how to live without you now that you became a main piece of my daily life. Before I could realize it I was watching and treating you as if you were my boyfriend. I don’t know if your feelings are the same but-“ he didn’t have the time to finish because Shun threw himself on him and they both fell on the floor.
“Oh my God Chu I love you too! I loved you for ages! I never said anything because I didn’t want to mess up your life. You had a wife and a son and there wasn’t space for me but I never stopped to love you, and when you remained alone my heart suffered so much because you didn’t deserve it! You are the kindest person I know and you are such a caring father, you want only the best for Teppeki but she left you anyway! An-and…” he was crying out everything he had held in his heart for all those years.
His hands were gripping hard Chu’s shirt, now wet by the tears that were dropping from the younger’s eyes.
Chu embraced him and with one hand he caressed the other’s hair trying to calm him. His eyes were starting to feel watery but he decided to not let even one tear come out from his eyes. He wanted to be strong for Shun as he always was for him.
“Shun look at me” he took his face between his hands.
Though hesitating he looked at the man underneath him.
“Do you want to be my boyfriend?”
“Of course yes! Isn’t it obvious?!” he laughed and hugged the other.
Chu just smiled and returned the hug. Even though Shun was still crying he could feel his smile against his neck.
They didn’t know how much time they stayed like that, they know only that next day they woke up next to each other still on the floor.

I haven't seen a ff about them too! Probably because it's more difficult to write ff about character's films. I tried to describe them as best as I can and since Chu and Shun are similar to Sho and Masaki it was easy ^^

I tried to make it the cutest I could! And I like too when they hugged! I like imagining Masaki threwing himself to Sho so I made sure to put this scene *-*
He cried tears of joy! He discovered that his love wasn't impossible but mutual so totally possible ^^

I love when Masaki freaks out but Sho hush him with a kiss so I wanted to put that in the confession ^^
It would be really beautiful if in Pikanchi 3 they will get together! Let's hope for that~

I wanted to write their daily life and I think, if in the movie they would get together, their moments would be full of sweetness~~
