Summary: "Why can't you see that I'm in love with you?!"

Notes: hi everyone! Here it is another romantic drabble~ I love so much to write the moment of confession, I think that it's the best moment in a relationship because it's how all starts ^^ I hope that you like it! Please bear with any possible mistake (english is not my native language) :3
“Oh-chan I’m on the terrace, I need some fresh air” he informed his friend and he nodded as a reply.
He didn’t want to isolate himself from the others since it was a party, but he felt a little dizzy and he needed to take a breather. Aiba exited the room and went to the railing, resting his elbows on it. The sky was beautiful, it was full of stars and the moon was very bright.
“Such a nice view…” he heard beside him.
He turned his head and saw Sho in the same position as his. With the moon’s light his facial features seemed even more beautiful and his eyes seemed as if they were sparkling.
“Yeah…” he simply replied and focused his gaze again on the moon.
“You’re happy?...I mean…You’re happy that Ohno-kun is going to marry next year?” Sho asked with a slightly trembling voice.
“Of course! My best friend is going to be a husband and I can’t wait to see how he will deal with his future children! I will have so much fun!” he said excitedly.
“There is no need to lie to me Aiba…”
That sentence made him astonished since he didn’t understand what Sho meant.
“What do you mean?”
“I realized it…It’s very clear that you are in love with Ohno since ages…I’m sad that your love finished like this…” he said and lowered his gaze.
Aiba was shocked. How could someone be so stupid? What made him believe that he was in love with his best friend when the only one that he loved was…
“I thought that you hadn’t seen nothing but I could never imagined that you had mistook everything…” he looked at him in disbelief.
“I…what?” he questioned with a frown.
“He isn’t the person whom I’m in love with…” he confessed.
“Eh? Not him? Then…then who?”
Aiba beat his fists on the railing and sighed heavily.
“Why can’t you see that I’m in love with you?!” he screamed and closed his eyes, some tears escaping them in frustration.
Sho froze at the hearing of that. He thought that he hadn’t heard correctly but when he saw Aiba’s face turning and his cheeks wet he couldn’t help but hold him in his arms.
“Are you saying the truth?” he asked still embracing him.
He felt Aiba’s nod on his shoulder and some tears fell from his eyes. The taller raised his head for looking at him and understood that there was no need to say something more. With his trembling hands he cupped Sho’s face and placed a soft kiss on his lips.
They melted in that simple kiss and as soon as they parted they heard a loud cheer.
“It was about time!” said out loud Ohno wanting to tease a little his two friends.
They only looked at him and smiled widely before returning to their own little world.

This is lovely! I also am a big fan of the beforeinstead of the after. I like established relationships stories, but there's something about waiting for that confession, yearning for that kiss... that makes me love these kinds of fics more. Ah, and the misunderstandings... the mutual pining... perfection.

Exactly! Describing their reaction and their feelings after the confession, the moment of the first kiss or the first encounter...the emotions are priceless. And I love misunderstandings! When they are apart just because of this and when they realize they feel so stupid~~~ I could write forever about the after*-*
